French golfers ready to say Bonjour to the Inrange® Golf experience

[La Palmyre, France]: The very first Inrange® Range in France is set to go live in early 2024. The much lauded La Palmyre Club boasts a 9 hole course (voted Best 9 Hole Course in France 2023 by Fairways Magazine), a giant putting practice green, short game area, golf academy and a soon to be tech-infused driving range.

The inclusion of Inrange®’s hyper-accurate radar ball-tracking & full stack off-course software, is going to raise the level of the customer experience at La Palmyre, which adjoins the local Club Med resort. Both local and travelling golfers will be able to enhance their practice sessions with data-driven, purposeful and accurate data - while entertainment seeking groups will be able to spend social time on the range playing games or linking bays together and playing in teams against one another (a functionality that is unique to the Inrange® system).

La Palmyre is copying the highly successful blueprint of the modern ‘hybrid range’ that can cater to every type of visitor, while also offering stand out F&B. The 10 covered and 10 uncovered bays will offer an enriching player experience alongside the venue’s main restaurant and lounge area where practice players can eat, drink and socialise. A second restaurant, overlooking the award-winning golf course, will serve up tasty French cuisine on a terrace deck.

The day-to-day overseer of the upgrade to La Palmyre (sister course of Ile de Fleurie, Paris) will be the Deputy Director of Golf, Astrid Dormeuil. On this new project, and her vision for where this goes, Astrid had this to say:

“We are incredibly excited to take this opportunity to bring a whole new era of golf to France. Inrange offers everything we need to create memorable golf experiences for our visitors and local players alike. Technology is needed on the range these days, and we know we’ve chosen the best possible partner to help us make it a success”

Planning and preparations are underway to bring the new standard of off-course golf to players in France at the end of Q1 2024.
