WHAT IS “SCRAMBLE” MODE?

Scramble is a brand-new multiplayer course format designed to bring team strategy, faster gameplay, and more fun to every round. Whether you’re a competitive golfer looking for a new challenge or a social player wanting a stress-free way to enjoy the course, Scramble makes every shot count—without the pressure.

WHY WE BUILT IT

Golf is best enjoyed together, but traditional stroke play can be slow and frustrating for beginners. Scramble mode was designed to:

• ✅ Speed Up Play – Large groups move through holes more efficiently, keeping the game flowing.
• ✅ Make It More Inclusive – Bad shots don’t ruin the round. Instead, the team picks the best shot, making it more enjoyable for social players and beginners.
• ✅ Deliver What Players Want – Scramble tournaments have been highly requested by our community to facilitate group Scramble tournaments

HOW IT WORKS

• Team Play: Every player tees off. The team selects the best shot, and all players take their next shot from that spot. Repeat until the hole is complete.
• Dynamic Shot Selection: By default, the system places the group at the best-positioned shot, but players can switch between options to get a first-person view before making their decision.
• Leaderboard Tracking: Even in a team format, we ensure individual efforts are recognized.

GAME-CHANGING FEATURES

‍Tiebreaker Hole – Because Teams Need a Decider:

‍Scramble mode naturally leads to low scores—sometimes too low! That’s why, in competitive events, we’ve introduced a Tiebreaker Hole.

• If teams finish with identical scores, the preselected Tiebreaker Hole determines the winner.
• Every player tees off, and the closest shot to the pin is recorded.
• In case of a tie, this score ranks teams to ensure a clear winner.

Leaderboard Contributions & MVPs:

‍Scramble is about teamwork, but individual performances still matter.

• The leaderboard now highlights who contributed the most shots to the team’s success.
• We total these contributions to award an MVP—because even in team play, great shots deserve recognition.
